Immunogen

The epitope recognized by PLA0139 maps to a region between residue 387 and 437 of human E2F Transcription Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005216.1 (GeneID 1869).

Other Notes

E2F1 is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors. E2F is an activating member that binds DNA at the E2 recognition site in the promoters of genes involved in cell cycle regulation or DNA replication. E2F1 is regulated through its interaction with the pRb tumor suppressor.
